Chrysocolla can be found in copper rich ore bodies and is often mistaken for Turquoise.  Its color makes it a popular choice for jewelry items.

This cabochon was handshaped and polished by Jamie Colee of Arizona.  She hunts and digs many of her stones and has to be wary of rattlesnakes which also like to use rocks as cover.  I have wire wrapped this cabochon in 14k gold filled wire.  I have coordinated earrings to match this pendant and will provide a link when I get these listed.
