Swazi Bloodstone - Brecciated red jasper in green chert which looks grey until you wet the stone. Some has golden pyrite spots which polish to a metallic shine. It can have large or small patterning. It comes from Swaziland in Southern Africa.

This Swazi Bloodstone slab measures 5-1/4"x2-1/2"x3/16".  You will be able to make numerous colorful cabs from this slice.  It has some natural internal fractures that I would work around when designing your cabochons.  The photo was taken with the slab dry and indoors.
