Swazi Bloodstone - Brecciated red jasper in green chert which looks grey until you wet the stone. Some has golden pyrite spots which polish to a metallic shine. Can have large or small patterning. It comes from Swaziland in Southern Africa.

This Swazi Bloodstone slab measures 4-3/4"x2-1/2"x3/16".  There is some natural internal fracturing that I would work around when choosing my cabbing material.  You will be able to get numerous colorful cabs from this slice.  The photo was taken with the slab dry and indoors.
