Pietersite has blue, gold, and/or red tigerseye which has been brecciated by the earth's natural processes then resealed in quartz.  It comes from China or Africa.

This Pietersite Cabochon was handshaped by Larry Wyland.  It shows chatoyant reds and measures 42 mm x 20 mm. It is polished on front and back.
