This African Vogesite weighs 7 lbs. This is some excellent material for cabbing, slabbing or spheremaking. This stone was named after Mr. Voges whose farm it was found on in South Africa. It has stunning autumn color patterns and often dendrites. It is a jasper/chalcedony. The orange showing is the outer "skin" but you have an excellent window on this rock showing what is inside.
