Blue Swirlstone - A siliceous sodalite and quartz mix (sodalite mixed with pink feldspar and white quartz). A lot of folding has taken place. This folding has left a stunning design in the rock. From one angle you find a swirly pattern and from another the pattern appears more spotty. There are good blues and some pinks. The yellow is rather scarce. Spheres from this are stunning. It is from north of Namibia. It polishes very well.
This flat rate box of African Blue Swirlstone weighs 21 lbs. This is some excellent material for cabbing, slabbing or spheremaking. It has blue sodalite, white quartz, and pink feldspar in swirls and stripes. They are shown dry in the box but the other pictures were taken wet in natural sunlight. It will ship in the USPS flat rate priority box at a rate of $8.95.
