Semi-precious Gemstone Cabochons
These handshaped designer cabochons have been created from rough semi-precious gemstones. I have shaped and polished them in the manner I prefer for creating my wire wrapped pendants. I like them to have a flat 3-4 mm bezel edge for the wire to fit neatly against so these will all have that edge. Use them for your own pendant making or wire wrapped jewelry. I will try to keep my paws off of them but don't be surprised if you see one come up missing then show up under the wire wrapped pendants section. I do sometimes use templates to create my cabochon designs and at other times I choose to completely freeform the design. I do not dop as it just feels more natural to me to hold the cab when I'm working it. I will try to offer a variety of sizes, shapes, colors, and materials.I also have freeform cabochons that have been handshaped and polished by Larry Wyland of Connecticut. It will be noted in the description if the cabs have been designed by Larry.
